A kilo of ripe tomatoes

A head of white onion

Half a head of celery

Two large carrots

Two spoons of rice

Four tablespoons of butter/oil

A spoonful of flour

Finely chopped parsley (for serving)

Grated cheese/shredded cheese (optional).

How is the soup made?

The first thing you need to do is wash and peel all the tomatoes. Then take a coarse grater and grind it. Place them in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add salt to taste. While the tomatoes are cooking, wash and grate the onion, celery and carrots. When the tomatoes turn, add the rest of the chopped vegetables. After about twenty minutes, pour two tablespoons of rice. While the soup is boiling, melt the desired lard and fry the flour. Add to the soup and let it finish cooking.
